Parking Permits
Notice: When creating your parking account, please verify your email address before submitting. An email will be sent to that address to verify your account. We no longer ship physical permits, they are now digital.
The new parking website is https://indianatech.ops-com.com/. A link to download the mobile parking app is available on the parking website.
Anyone parking at Indiana Tech should order a permit using the button above. Employees, students, and visitors will need to go to the parking webpage and create an account, add their vehicle, then assign the permit. This permit will be unique to your account and will be tracked digitally.
All student and employee vehicles on campus should have a current valid permit while parked on campus, after September 1st.

Permit Types
- Commuter: For students who do not live on campus. Students in the College of Professional Studies should order a permit if they are going to be on campus during the hours of enforcement.
- Residential: For students who live on campus.
- Staff/ Faculty: For employees of Indiana Tech
- Visitor: For short term parking such as a parent, contractor, vendor, etc.
Visitor Parking
Free visitor permits can be assigned by going to the parking website, and creating a guest/visitor user account. Visitor permits are valid for 24 hours at a time. Visitors with an active permit may park in any C or C/R lot.
Contractors in company vehicles should check in with the department they are providing service to before starting work. They will be allowed to park near the location they are working after they check in.
Guests of a department, vendors, and event organizers can have a temporary permit issued to their vehicle by creating an account or through Security or parking@indianatech.edu. If a guest has been issued a paper permit, it should be placed on the dash while the vehicle is parked on campus. The name of the driver, vehicle information, and license plate number will be needed to create an online account. If a visitor receives a citation, please contact parking@indianatech.edu for assistance.
Parking Cost
- Visitor parking is free and are 24 hour permits.
- Residential and Commuter student parking is $75.00 for the school year.
- Additional vehicles may be added to a user account without cost. When driving a different vehicle from your account, make it the active vehicle to use the permit.
Parking Opt-Out
The initial parking permit will be charged to all student accounts for those attending on-campus classes, annually.
OPT-OUT NOTICE
A student who opts-out of a parking permit will not be able to order a parking permit or park a non-permitted vehicle on campus. If a student attempts to gain a permit after opting-out, they may have the parking fee reinstated. Non-permitted vehicles on campus may be subject to citation or tow, at the owners expense.
To opt-out of the fee and waive the ability to park on campus, please use the online form, using your Slate login. If you encounter any issues, please email parking@indianatech.edu. Please use your student email account when emailing parking.
Temporary Vehicles
If you need a permit for a temporary vehicle, add the vehicle information to your account and switch it to the active vehicle. This will make the permit active for that vehicle.
Additional Vehicles/ Motorcycles
If you are planning to change vehicles, the new vehicle should be added to your parking account. When using an additional vehicle, change it to the active vehicle on your account to use the permit.
Motorcycles should be added as a vehicle on the parking account.
Temporary License Plates
Temporary license plates can be used as a license plate until your permanent plate arrives. Once the permanent plate is on your vehicle, you will then be able to log into your parking account and update the information.
Terms and Conditions
Please be sure you have read and understand the terms and conditions below before applying for a parking permit. You will be asked to acknowledge and agree to them before you are able to complete your parking permit registration form.
Compliance
While driving on any university owned or managed property, individuals must comply with all vehicle laws of the state of Indiana, ordinances of Allen County, and Indiana Tech regulations. Unauthorized motor vehicles are prohibited on any surface not designated as a road or driveway and violators will be cited. If necessary, Indiana Tech reserves the right to revoke parking privileges.
Permit Application
All parking permits are issued by the authority of Indiana Tech and remain the sole property of Indiana Tech. Applicants may only purchase permits designated and assigned to their user category and some may include quantity limits.
For information concerning the specifics of Indiana Tech parking permits (i.e. eligibility, classification, rules, and regulations) contact parking@indianatech.edu.
- Annual permits must be fully affixed to the exterior lower drivers-side rear windshield.
- Permits should be clearly displayed and visible in its entirety.
- Window glass should be wiped clean with a dry cloth before installation.
- Permits are non-transferable to another party and valid only on vehicles to which they are assigned. Additional vehicles will require either a temporary permit or a permanent permit affixed.
- Lost permits should be reported by contacting parking.
- Stolen or vandalized permits should be reported to Security.

Indiana Tech shall assume no liability or responsibility for theft, damage, or loss that may occur during use of parking facilities or services. Individuals choosing to park at Indiana Tech do so at their own risk. If you accept a permit under false pretenses you will be subject to citation and/or removal of privileges. Permit fees, once a permit is ordered, are non-refundable regardless of enrollment or employment status.
